What We Do
At MVG, we believe in helping formerly incarcerated people with business talents achieve success, transform their lives, and improve their communities. To that end, we provide free small business counseling, ongoing networking support and financial assistance in the form of grants and very low-interest loans.
All financial assistance packages are designed with an eye toward maximizing the potential for our founders to create thriving businesses.
Although we would love to help every formerly incarcerated person, our primary focus is on individuals who have some basic business skills and solidly formulated ideas. We also look for businesses with a strong potential for creating jobs and bettering communities.
